Macedonia Baptist Church operates the following ministries which enables all its members to be Members in Good Standing. What kind of fruit will you produce?           

Associate Ministries

Associate Ministers are extensions of the Pastor in congregational care and service. Our ministers are licensed and/or ordained in order to serve out the Great Commission.

Children's Church Ministry

Ministry Leader: Deacon Carolyn Brooks

Macedonia’s Children’s Church Ministry serves youth ages 4-12, the first and third Sunday of each month. It is a worship experience focused totally on children and building their understanding of the Bible.  Our goal is to lead children toward knowing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and developing a meaningful relationship with Him.  In a safe environment, children are taught at an age-appropriate level while building significant relationships with other children and adults.

Christian Education Ministry

Ministry Leader: Marion Crain

The Christian Education Ministry's purpose is to provide programs that equip believers in discipleship. We provide spiritual growth enrichment in the areas of biblical teaching, doctrine, service and education; living out our call to fulfill the Great Commission.

Circle of Hope Ministry

Ministry Leader: Nakeisha Bownes

The Circle of Hope Ministry was created to be a source of drug and alcohol assistance for families within the Macedonia congregation and the surrounding community.

Courtsey Ministry

Ministry Leader: Evelyn Ellis

The Courtesy Ministry serves by greeting and welcoming members and visitors to our worship experience.  It is our desire for each person we come in contact with will feel the love of Christ. This ministry also provides opportunities for growth in the areas of public speaking and the Gift of helping.

Culinary Ministry

The Culinary Ministry gracefully provides nourishing meals for congregants and the community with Christ like service for community and Church events.

Deacon's Ministry

Ministry Leader: Deacon Charles Ransom

The Deacons of Macedonia are servants, both male and female, called of God to assist the Pastor in the congregational care of the church. Qualifications for the office of Deacon are outlined in

Health Unit & Wellness Ministry

Ministry Leader: Charlotte Cotton

The Health Unit serves Macedonia by providing emotional support during worship services and special events.  This unit also promote health and wellness education programs.  In addition to seminars for the congregation and community. They assist with preparing the pulpit for the Pastor during morning worship.

Missionary Ministry

The Men’s Ministry seeks to empower men to grow into strong disciples. They serve as Christ like examples in the church and the community.  We provide men focused bible study, mentoring and Christian fellowship events.

Music Ministry

The Music Ministry, under the direction of the Pastor, provides theologically sound music for all regular worship services, revivals, funerals and special concerts. Macedonia choirs are:

New Harvest Ministry

Ministry Leader: Lezlie Wilson

The New Member Ministry’s mission is to ensure that all New Members make a smooth and comfortable transition into their new Church family. We serve as a starting point for New Members to become familiar with fellow members, facilities, regular schedule church such as Bible Study, Sunday School and other church ministries.

Pastoral Welfare Ministry

Ministry Leader: Porchia Thornton

The Pastoral Welfare Ministry serves as a spiritual and emotional support system for the pastor, as well as his family. The Pastoral Welfare sees that the church recognizes the Pastor on Special occasions.

Praise Dance Ministry

Ministry Leader: Lakesha Hill

The Macedonia Baptist Church Dance Ministry strives to be an extension of God’s word by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through dance. Our purpose and desire is to be used as vessels of our Lord and Savior to bring forth deliverance and salvation to God’s people.

Sunday School Ministry

The Sunday School Ministry is about discipleship, fellowship, and growing and learning about Christ.  Sunday School Ministry teaches biblical principles and godly living to people at every age and stage of life. The scriptures are a source of guidance as share in

Trustee's Ministry

Ministry Leader: Deacon Charles Ransom

The Trustee Ministry manages, distribute and monitors the general financial affairs and assets of the church.  They hold in trust legal documents of property and other business.  Trustee’s monitor and follow church policies and procedures for financial matters.

Usher Ministry

Ministry Leader: Deacon Phillip Hunt

The Usher Ministry are made up of servants committed to helping parishioners have a safe and orderly experience at Macedonia. We desire to create an atmosphere of reverence and order in the church building.

Women's Ministry

Ministry Leader: Rita Peyton

First and foremost to be the women that God is calling us to be.  We devote ourselves to God and commit to study His word.  We serve God through our service to others in the church, community and beyond as the Spirit leads us.

Young Adult Ministry

Ministry Leader: Pierre Lott

The Youth Adult Ministry (YAM) serves congregation members between the ages of 18 and 39 by providing opportunities to fellowship and grow in Christ.

 

Youth Ministry

Ministry Leader: Minister Kevin Harris

The Youth Ministry reaches out and serves youth ages 13 – 17, by providing them a place of fellowship to grow in Christ and connect with God, one another, and the community. This ministry teaches
